An Analytical Study in Multi-physics and Multi-criteria Shape Optimization

Abstract A simple multi-physical system for the potential flow of a fluid through shroud, in which mechanical component, like turbine vane, is placed, modeled mathematically. We then consider multi-criteria shape optimization problem, where component allowed to vary under certain set second-order Hölder continuous differentiable transformations baseline with boundary same continuity class. As objective functions, we loss model dynamical efficiency and probability failure due repeated application loads that stem from fluid’s static pressure. For this system, it shown that, conditions, Pareto front maximal sense feasible coincides its closure. also show all optimal forms respect scalarization techniques deforms continuously (in Hausdorff metric) preference parameters.
